Today the UK grounded all of its flights out of Sharm el-Sheikh after growing evidence that someone in Sharm el-Sheikh airport was involved in the likely bombing of the Russian aircraft. If this assessment turns out to be true, it would be the first successful confirmed bombing of an airliner since 2004.

Russian state media has continued to maintain that none of the victims have had explosive injuries or explosive residue. In my opinion, this is likely because Russia does not want to look vulnerable to ISIS. If Russian citizens are targeted after their military involvement in Syria, it could sway public opinion in either way and make Russia look vulnerable.

US satellite images reveal a heat signature in the sky at the time the plane was brought down, indicating an explosion.

The incident could have been the result of an old airplane and Russian lack-of-care maintenance. Just because an airplane falls apart in mid-air does not mean terrorists were involved. But given current events in the Middle East, it is still too early to just deny the possibility.

And it's about time the current Administration stopped playing around with terminology and use the term terrorists to describe something other than a Tea Party meeting.
